Did some things

Went out with Vicki, Becca and Mauricio last night. Went to my favorite LES bar and was smack-dab in the middle of the most awesome bar fight. Some guy broke a glass over some dude's head and said "Mavez Tov!", then, to retaliate, the other guy kicked him straight in the spine. Then the bartender threw them both out, but not before knocking over all the bar stools and sending me reeling towards the front, and had to be pulled behind the bar to get out of the fray. I bruised my leg but it was a very nice fight, so maybe that's the price you have to pay for a good show. Then we went to the best club. The best club in the world is this place on Avenue C between 8th and 9th street called Babel. This is where all the foreign kids from NYU go to dance. The dj, who was amazing, spun the forgotten hip hop and dancehall music I grew up with (PATRA?! HOORAY!) and then by the end of the night, landed in Raeggeton/Rai land (I never knew the two genres shared som much in common), with all the kids literally ululating. The crowd was incredibly friendly, oh and it's a hookah bar, habibi! and somehow, it manages to be pleasant instead of being a fire hazard!
