I got a new computer

I finally did what I never thought I would do: I bought a Mac. Oddly enough, I'm kind of embarrassed by it-- it's white and clean and it looks like everyone else's computer. However, while I cringe at the thought of being seen with it in public, it's actually amazing how much I can get done, and the speed with which I can do it! Finally, I can experiment further in Processing without my computer crashing, or flat-out refusing to execute scripts. Finally, I can edit video at home, rather than trucking over to CCTV and spending beautiful summer hours in a dark editing suite! Finally, I can play music with Noah without my godawful soundcard making that buzzing noise on our tracks!

So, in the end, I feel like a total sell-out, but gosh I can't keep my hands off the thing! Hooray! And I'm having fun playing....
